How to Order a Birthday Cakewith Toy:

The birthday cakes with toys are quite popular with Bamboo Bakery. It’sonly because when we use the toys as props we want it to look great. All ourcakes with toys, we like to make the scenery have a more realistic vibe to it.All are cakes will always look great, and taste even better. To order a cakewith toys is simple.

1. Step one, figure out the theme of the cake,color scheme, design of the cake, and possible flavors for the cakes

2. Step two, call us at 602.246.8061 or come intoBamboo Bakery; we will be gladly to assist you. When you talk with us, firstthing we must discuss is when you need the cake by. There are times we can’tmake the cake in the time that is given to us because of the shipment ofingredients or because of the abundance of previous orders. To make sure that we are able to make yourcake, call ahead and order in advance.

3. Step three; describe to us what you are lookingfor and what toys you are looking to have on the cake. The supply of toys maybe limited, and often time we have to order it. Although, some toys may notlook the same in the pictures because the toys ordered from our provider maychange in design because of the manufacture. Although, you can bring us the toyand we can design the cake accordingly.

4. Step four, we will go over your order, make sureeverything is exactly what you are looking for, and once you are satisfied wewill make everything final

5. See you on the day of pickup, most likely youwill be more than satisfied with the outcome of all the cakes that BambooBakery makes.

How to Order a Birthday Cake

Ordering a birthday cake with Bamboo Bakery is quite simple. There aresimple steps that you must follow in order to insure that you have that perfectcake for your occasion. All the cakes that come out of Bamboo Bakery are madeto perfection and from nothing other than the best and fresh ingredients.

1.Step one, you must plan ahead and figure whenexactly what kind of cake you are looking for. Also, decide on a design thatyou are picturing for your birthday cakes. If your designs are hard to explainover the phone we advise you to come in, one of our friendly salesrepresentatives will be more than happy to help you through the process.

2. Step two, after you figure out what you wantcall us at 602.246.8061 or come to Bamboo Bakery and tell us what you are lookingfor. Describe the design, color scheme, flavor of the cakes, number of guest,and tell us exactly when need the cake by. There are times when we can’tpromise to make your cake due to the busy seasons or if we are unable to havecertain ingredients shipped to us in the time needed to make the scrumptiouscake. Often times, some flavors come from overseas, LA, New York and time isrequire for those special ingredients to be shipped to us.

3. Step three, Bamboo Bakery will go over what youare order and make sure that everything is correct. We will personally makesure that you are satisfied with everything before making the order final.

4. Step four, we will see you again on the day thatyou pick it up, or in some cases when we deliver it to you. If you areinterested in us delivering your cakes, please let us know accordingly.

In the United States, the modern Thanksgiving holiday tradition traces its origins to a 1621 celebration at Plymouth in present-day Massachusetts. In later years, the tradition was continued by civil leaders such as Governor Bradford who planned a thanksgiving celebration and fast in 1623.While initially, the Plymouth colony did not have enough food to feed half of the 102 colonists, the Wampanoag Native Americans helped the Pilgrims by providing seeds and teaching them to fish. The practice of holding an annual harvest festival like this did not become a regular affair in New England until the late 1660s.

Arizona Wedding Cake Design Consultation and Cake Tasting

We encourage you to make an appointment to speak with one of our friendly and talented cake decorators. We are open by appointment for Wedding Cake Design Consultation and Cake Tasting. During these appointments you have an opportunity to collaborate with a decorator to design the perfect cake for your wedding as well as taste a delicious sampling of what we have to offer. Our decorators use the latest techniques and will accommodate all decorating requests. Fell free to bring color swatches, cake photos, or any ideas with you to the consultation to help with the design process.

Design Consultations and Tastings can only be scheduled by appointment, Monday from 3PM-9PM and Tuesdays from 9AM-9PM. Tasting must be scheduled 3-6 weeks in advance and with $25.00 per half hour fee (50% OFF). Fees must be paid prior to the appointment and a maximum of 4 people are allowed to attend the tasting. We want to invite you to our Bridal Expo and Fashion Show 8. It will be at Bella Giardino, 27201 N. Black Canyon Hwy, Phx, AZ 85085. This is going to be a very fun, entertaining, yet very helpful day. We are having a lot of vendors from all different type of areas and they may be helpful for weddings and quinceaneras. These vendors are here to help and to answer any questions that you may have. They want to make sure your big day turns out just the way that you image.

Frequently Asked Wedding Cake Questions:

Bamboo bakery is here to the rescue, we want everyone to know the answers to questions that you might have or maybe lots have asked. We want to help in any way that we can, so we answered each questions with a few key points that you should keep in mind while ordering a wedding cake. We want your wedding cake ordering experience to be great, and we want to be able to schedule you in and we would be so grateful to be apart of your big day. No wedding with special without that special cake, that memorable flavor and design that is the next center of attention to the bride and groom. The cake is what represent and at the same time celebrate your unity as husband and wife.

1/How far in advance do we have to order a wedding cake?
Well usually it depends a lot on the date, we would have to check if your day is available or not. We would suggest maybe 6 months or more in advance, although we do have some last minute ones that we would get into because you don’t want anyone to go without a wedding cake for their special day. Also, we would have to take into consideration about the custom part, if it’s more stylistic we would need more time. So the sooner you call the better. If you order 6 months in advance you would have 10% off, 1 year in advance would be 20% discount, and 3 years it would be half off.

2/Is there a lot of people that order 3 years in advance?
There are actually a lot of people that do that, it’s because sometimes it’s not wedding cake that they are looking to order. They may want to order anniversary cakes, sweet 16 cakes, or quinceanera, and or wedding cakes. As for wedding cakes, if you know that you are going to be together forever, why not. Also, if you have a 12 or 13 year old, you know that you are going to be 15 and 16 soon, so why not. Think ahead, it’s save you lots of money, especially if the prices are changing every month. Even if you save lots of money, the cake would have the same great tasting quality.

3/How much cheaper if we were to order in advance?
Every month the prices changes, it only changes because we have to take into considerate of the state of the economy. Depending on gas, ingredients, and or etc, the prices would go up or down. Although, we always want great prices for all of our customers, so we take that into consideration too. We have the best prices compared to other bakeries, at the same time our cakes looks great and taste absolutely amazing.
Every month the prices do change ingredients and gas. If you were to order 3 years before is way cheaper, and it's 50 percent cheaper depending on monthly price changes. Order as soon as possible, the soon the cheaper.

4/How can I order a cake if my significant other is serving in the military?
We support our troops, male and female. We want to show our appreciation for those to serve and risk their lives to fight for our country, so we are willing to work with you in these type of situations. We open a more flexible window for you; you would have to tell us two months before hand, if you were to change the date of the wedding. We would keep everything the same, price and all but push the date back. Also we have special discounts if both to be bride and groom serve in the military, we off 10 percent off. If one serves that would be 5 percent discount for our men or women of the military.

5/Are there special discounts because of our economy?
We know are aware of the state of our economy, and we are willing to cut price where ever we can. So if you were to attend one of many bridal/fashion shows we are giving away discounts just for you attending. You would get 75 dollar off your wedding cake if you have more than 100 guests and 50 dollar off your wedding cake, if you were to have less than 100 guests. At these shows you also have a chance to win a 500 dollar free wedding cake, the winners of the wedding cake would have to attend and have to be present at the time we call out your name. 6/Where can I check for pictures and prices of cakes that are more original and not custom?
You can check on bakeryarizona.com, here we have several pictures of wedding cakes that aren’t really custom. So if you already know what you want, just give us a call and we will get you in as soon as possible.

7/Where can we try your cake?
Everyone can try our cakes at all the events that we are apart of and the ones that we are hosting. At all these places, we would bring samples of our most popular cakes. You can try all the flavors that you want, and it’s free. So come join us whenever you get the chance. To know the date and time, just check our website, and or pick up a flyer at the bakery.

8/Can I bring my own design?
Yes, you can bring in your own design. We actually would love it if you were too, because that would help us sketch out that perfect cake just the way that you imagined it. So don’t ever hesitate of telling us your crazy thoughts and ideas. Also, bring in whatever you can you help us get on the same page as what you want your wedding cake to look like. We have over 20 years of experience design cakes, so we do have the experience and knowledge to make whatever that is that you are picturing a reality.

9/Where can I check out your bakery’s reviews by past brides?
You can check wedding wire.com. All the reviews on here are of brides that have used us in the past, they will let you know how great we are.

10/Where do you guys deliver to?
We deliver Arizona-wide, although there is a delivering fee, to know about how much it is; you would have to give us the exact address and we would calculate from there. The traveling fee is quite reasonable, so don’t let that stand in your way of asking us to deliver. We do have lots of orders that are nationwide as well, for those orders we ask you to order at least 2 years in advance, because we have lots of places to go all over the US, at the same time all of Arizona.

11/Do you make the flower sugar, icing, and fresh flowers?
We do all of these flowers. Fresh flowers is most common, we ask our bride or groom to bring in their flowers. Just so that we would match the right flower and color. As icing, we do make them in the color as you want, so that would be simple. As for the sugar flowers, its takes time to make. So if you were to order a cake with sugar flower, we would advise you to order more in advance because these take lots of time to make.

Our economy as of now is at a stance, we need to learn on ways to save! Bamboo Bakery is here is help; we want our customers to save their money at the same time getting their moneys’ worth. We are all about quality, and if we can help you save we will. There are plenty ways that you can save with us, it’s simple. Saving is everything, and our Bakery wants our loyal customers to save in any way that they possibly can. Our cakes will exceed all expectations and our pricing will be unbelievable.
One of the best ways to save is to order in advance. This key point everything should keep in mind, the further in advance, the higher the discount, and the better. If looking to order a cake the following discount is as follows:
In advance:
6 months: 10%
1 year: 20%
2 years: 40%
3 years: 50%
The first response that customers would tell us about our discount rates would be who would order that far in advance. The list of wedding cakes is ridiculous. There are lots of people that do order that far in advance. So when you know that you need a cake, it wouldn’t hurt to give a call earlier that usual because we are here. The discounts are always going to be here for anyone to take advantage of. So if you need a cake, give us a call and put in your order as soon as possible.
Another way that you can save and save even more is by attending our shows. Just by coming out and supporting us, we will discount you on that. So, if you need a wedding cake, or anniversary cake, and or a quince cake, and or big cake, come. Our next shows would be on May 22, 2011, August 21, 2011, and all the other events would be listed on our website, www. Bamboobakery.com. Admission is free. At these bridal shows we offer free cake testing, and we provide many varieties of cake flavors and fillings. We want everyone to try our cake, and just see the quality and heart that we put into our cakes, just to show that we are the bakery that you are looking for.
Discounts at shows:
100 guests or more: $75 off
Less than 100 guests: $50 off

These rates are there just by attending. On top of that there will be a lucky person that would receive $500 dollars off their wedding cake, but this present would have to be present at the time that his or her name is called, just to be fair. Look at all the ways so far that you can save. One is by ordering in advance and the other is by coming out and supporting at our bridal expos that we host.
Although, we are not done yet; the other way that you can save with us is by giving us your email. Usually, we have a form at the bakery for you to put your name and email address on. PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE

--CRUST:--

3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. chopped pecans (opt.)

--FILLING:--

4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar or firmly packed brown
sugar
3 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin pie mix
1/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 9 inch spring form pan or spray with non-stick spray. Combine crust ingredients and line sides and bottom of pan. Beat cream cheese in a large bowl until fluffy. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour with cinnamon and pumpkin pie mix and blend well. Stir in nuts. Pour into crust-lined pan. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes or until center feels firm when touched. Cool in pan on wire rack. Brush top with maple syrup. Cool completely. NOTE: To substitute canned pumpkin for pumpkin pie mix, use 1 (1 pound) can pumpkin, increase sugar to 1 1/2 cups, use 5 eggs instead of 3, 1/4 cup flour instead of 2 tablespoons and add 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice.

Home style CHEESECAKE WITH SOUR CREAM

1 lb. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 lb. margarine
1 2/3 c. rolled graham crackers
2 tbsp. sugar
1 pt. sour cream
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling
Cool-whip topping

Cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and mix well. Set aside. Melt margarine. Add graham crackers and sugar. Spread firmly in the bottom of a greased 8 x 10 inch Pyrex dish. Pour cream cheese mixture into crust and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool. Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla. When cake is cool, spread over top and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. When cool, top with cherry pie filling and Cool-whip topping

CARROT CAKE

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. pecans, cut sm.
4 c. grated carrots
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. flour
2 cup coconut string
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon

--ICING:--

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick margarine, softened
1 box powdered sugar (1 lb.)
2 oz sour cream
2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 tsp. vanilla extract

CAKE: Stir all dry ingredients (except pecans and carrots) together and then add eggs and oil. Mix until just blended and then add carrots and pecans. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. ICING: Mix cream cheese and margarine until smooth, add sour cream and mix again until smooth, add sugar, grated orange rind and vanilla and blend. Ice when cake is cool.

BUTTERCREAM ICING FOR CAKE DECORATING

1 heaping c. nonfat dry powdered milk
1/2 c. cool water

2 c. solid Crisco shortening (in room temperature)
2 tbsp. meringue powder
1/2 tsp. almond (must be clear flavoring for really white frosting)
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla (must be clear flavoring for really white frosting)
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. Power sugar (sift if lumpy)
Beat for 5 minutes. Store airtight in the refrigerator. when you want to used, take out and beat again about 5-7 minutes If you want chocolate (or brown) frosting, add cocoa to taste.
